Kwik Fit supporting Prostate Cancer UK

Working together to save men's lives

Kwik Fit technicians and colleagues across our centres and offices voted for Prostate Cancer UK to be our chosen charity partner for 2022. Prostate Cancer UK’s vision of a future where lives aren’t limited by prostate cancer was one that our teams felt strongly about supporting. Help us raise funds to increase awareness, fund the charity's Specialist Nurses team and support vital research into screening programmes to ensure that prostate cancer is diagnosed early and accurately.

Our fundraising

During 2022, our teams will be cycling, walking, running, baking and more to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK. We’re excited to help raise money to support Prostate Cancer UK’s goal to stop men's lives being limited by prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK, and every 45 minutes one man dies from this devastating disease. This is why we’re committed to helping Prostate Cancer UK in its mission to stop prostate cancer damaging bodies and lives. With over 5,000 members of staff raising money, we’re excited to help make a difference to the lives of men diagnosed with prostate cancer and their families.

About Prostate Cancer UK

Leading men’s health charity, Prostate Cancer UK’s top priority is funding research into better treatments and tests that will stop prostate cancer killing men.

The latest research shows that more than 11,500 men die from prostate cancer in the UK each year. Many of these deaths could have been avoided if the cancer had been detected earlier. Prostate Cancer UK’s research is helping to get men diagnosed early and accurately to improve prostate cancer survival rates. With the number of men diagnosed with prostate cancer each year set to continue increasing, it’s important that we act now to prevent lives being damaged by prostate cancer. Our fundraising will support Prostate Cancer UK in its aim to being a killer and continue to provide award-winning support for men and their families affected by prostate cancer.

Where your donation goes

We share Prostate Cancer UK’s vision of a future where prostate cancer no longer damages lives. And we’re raising funds and awareness to achieve this vision. Our donations will fund ground-breaking research into better tests and treatments that will keep men with their families for longer. And we’ll be supporting the charity’s team of Specialist Nurses to provide award-winning support and information to men and their families. Together, we’re committed to working towards a future where prostate cancer is no longer a killer.
